ADDRESSING THE PROBLEM OF NIGERIAN EDUCATION THROUGH SYNOCRACY

ABSTRACT

This research work seeks to verify Africa values as cherishable values. Africa as a continent suffers from the inability to maintain some of her ideology and culture that are capable of bringing positive change and innovations in all ramifications of life.

This research reveals African theory and practices in action in the school setting. African traditional norms go with the slogan ‘Live and let live’ which embodies democratic principles.

Synocracy is a term coined from “synergy” and “democracy”. When issues are addressed with synocratic principles, conflicting issues will be resolved in our educational system.
