ABSTRACT:
This work gives an investigation of
antibiotics-producing microorganisms in soil samples obtained from different
localities. Soil samples were obtained from selected localities. Tests and
analysis were run on these soil samples.
It was observed therefore that antimicrobial
agents produced by the soil borne microorganisms like (Actinomycetales,
Pseudomonasauregenosa, staphyllo coccous spp etc) in industrial areas as well as in agricultural
soil have been reported to amend with diverse amounts of municipal solid waste
compost (MSWC) or farmyard manure (FM).
Antibiotics
producing microorganisms in soils vary amongst localities.
